Extension – minor progress

I have the foam shaped to work as the roadbed and cut away the bit that will be the location of a pier. Still very early. The plan is to cut down the fascia you see in the ‘finished’ bit here to just above the water level. That way I can show the banks of the river without having to model the ‘connecting’ water .. think that might be a problem where the new epoxy joins the old. That’s still ‘up in the air’ for now. I’m considering that corner .. a metal corner brace would make sense and then I could round off that corner instead of the right angle it is now. If I do that I will have to modify the banks and water of course. It would certainly look better IMO.
