Model Grouping for 3D Printing

I found this three part tutorial on YouTube that shows how to use MeshLab, Sketchup and Blender to create an array of objects .. a group .. that can then be uploaded to a 3D printing service. There’s some excellent information here. While I have used MeshLab he showed me some things I didn’t know (which isn’t hard in that I only ‘know’ the smallest part of this program). The Sketchup tutorial was helpful even though I consider myself quite good in Sketchup .. as he gave me some good ideas on creating a Sprue for the model. Finally, the tutorial on Blender. I’m looking over that right now. I used this tutorial yesterday to create an array in Blender .. but haven’t got scaling function down yet. That’s ok. I’ll work through it with this tutorial. Great stuff.
